shoot five - Mill Green

SHOOT 5
Plan:
For this shoot I will again be revisiting Mill Green to identify and photograph the changes that has happened over the last 2 weeks. There should hopefully be a few changes as it's been a few weeks since I last took photos there. I will also go during sunset so that I'm able to take pictures in a different light (dark sunlight). which could change the look of my pictures.
I will take photos of the same/similar things that I have in previous shoots, so that they relate and so that I can create triptychs and prints.
Contact Sheets:
I like how I managed to capture the sunset in these images, and also images of the moon as my project is quite plant focused so it's nice to look at the sky and weather.
Working Images:
These photos are more landscape images - showing an overview of specific parts of the nature reserve. I like these as it clearly shows the sunset and the detail of the sky - this is something that's not really been included in my previous shoots.
These images are interesting as the trees are almost like silhouettes due to the darkness, and the bright blue sky. In the first image you can also see the purple accents in the sky which is nice and makes the picture more interesting. Also, in the tree there are lots of magpies and I noticed on the walk that there were a lot magpies all throughout the trees and the path. They aren't usually there so this was different to see how the wildlife also changes in the nature.
These images clearly show the landscape of the pool, taken from the same position that I usually do shows the changes. This time the changes consisted of the sky due to it being sunset it makes the whole photo appear different. Also there's a lot more ducks and swans present showing the nice atmosphere and weather.
I really like these images and the close up shots thatI have taken them from. I did this creating a shallow depth of field which I think is really nice.
In the first one I took a photo of the blossom and how it's starting to die and there's not that many new buds flowering. I like how the only part of the image in focus is the specific flower.
In the second one is an unopened bud which I like as the green is a nice contrast to the blue sky, which makes the picture more interesting and aesthetically pleasing.
The third image is of the blossom that I have previously photographed, I took it from the same angle as before which is nice as it shows that the blossom has died and just turned into greenery and leaves, showing the constant transformation of the plants and how they're ever changing.
These images are just of the walk ways and the whole scenery along the walk which shows a nice view of different parts in the nature reserve. I like in the last one that it shows the reflection of the trees and sky in the water as it makes it interesting and cooler to look at.
There's also a lot more greenery and new growth compared to the images in other shoots.
